Finishing Process is created for one or more articles.

A process can use one or more solutions (Recipe) Each Recipe will be prepared by mixing specified proportion of chemicals (commonly specified for 1 litre) Each Recipe will be applied in multiple no of coatings.

  • Recipe application per sqft of leather will be specified. (let us say 5 ml per sqft)
  • No of coats of that solution will be specified (let us say 4 coats)

List of chemicals and their proportion (normally adding up to 1 litre) will be entered.

(For example Chemical 1 - 100 ml, Chemical 2 - 100 ml, Water 800 ml)

Generating recipe for a 10,000 sqft batch will be as per the following calculation:

  1. . 10,000 sqft x 5 ml/sqft x 4 coats = 200 litres of Recipe required
  1. . 200 litres * 100ml/litre = 20 litre - Chemical 1
  2. . 200 litres * 100ml/litre = 20 litre - Chemical 2
  3. . 200 litres * 800ml/litre = 160 litre - Water
