Buyer gives indicative quantity for an article at the beginning of season. Confirmed orders are received against the forecast throughout the season.
Based on forecast chemical planning will be done. Forecast vs actual order receipt will be monitored to fine tune planning during the season.

[edit] To Create a Forecast
Planning ==> Order Forecast
Select Brand, Buyer, Season Enter one or more Articles, Quantity and Price
[edit] To Link an Order Against Forecast
Sales & Shipments ==> Order Entry In the item entry rows, select the forecast order against which current PO is accounted.

Reports ==> Sales Order ==> Pending Orders Select Order Forecast (Brandwise) customization Here you can view the following information: Brand, Product, Season Tannage, Forecast Quantity, Received Qty, Balance to Receive Qty
