BSG LeatherLink

LeatherLink Kalam should have the following features:

A user (business owner, leather product consumer, professional) should be view all services available from BSG LeatherLink, register for an account, buy modules/services, pay for them, add modules/services to existing account, browse demo of applications, participate in community applications.

Single sign On :
User should be able to Register and Login once and access all applications, features. User’s Name, Contact Details, Password management should be centralized.

Applications (BSG LeatherLink commercial):
User should be able to register for Free or Paid version of any of the applications / modules / tools. For each user, their level of association with each application should be available in User’s account management page.

Option to make payments for commercial paid versions and view details should also be there.

Navigation :
Show link to all applications on top edge of page so that user can go from one place to another seamlessly.
For paid version, opted modules will be enabled and separate database is provided.
Demo versions can be accessed as a common application.

Demo :
1. A showcase demo with standard reports and no option to change any thing. Data maintained by BSG.
2. A sandbag demo with user entered date. DB recreated every week.

Applications :
Option to enable modules and links.
Option to add / remove / edit users
Option to edit menu for users, access to reports.
Link to relevant page of on-line help in each page.
Link to download help manual in PDF format.
Option to download all reports
Option to download db backup.

Help Manual :
Manual in BSG Wiki for TMS, FMS, Sales Dais (Chemicals), GloView (General) with separate pages for forms, reports, documents

Modules :
Sales - Orders, Shipments, Invoice, Shipping documents
Purchase - Planning, Order, Receipt, Bill, Receipt Tracking, Payment
Production
Costing
HR - from EMS (no link to other modules)
Accounts - from EMS (linked to Sales Invoices, Purchase Bills and HR salary)
Issue Tracking - from EMS (linked to Relationships)

Security :
1. Validation of access permission for logged in user in each page
2. Validation of access permission for financial information at each stage.
3. Validation for reports (customizations) access.
4. Password management policy
5. Secure socket layer protocol for online data transfer

Features :
1. Email to any email id and link email message to a object (order, shipment, invoice, bill etc)
2. Attach a message to any object (order, shipment, invoice, bill etc)
3. Upload data from excel sheet (pre-provided template)

Commercial Features :
1. Application features, pricing, demo move, demo access, screen shots.
2. User account, dues, paid amount, history
3. Option to print out invoice by users (for payments to services at LKalam)

Community features should be available to users with the same login created for LKalam.

New Application Development :
Online market place
1. Option to place details of a product / stock from one’s internal application to online market
2. Respond to an offer (email, online, sms)

Technical Documentation:
Technical Documentation of our applications should be available in BSG Wiki for all applications. Our enterprise software clients should be able to maintain our software with their development engineers.

Karma points for contribution :
In discussion forum we have a points system for active users.
